ABOUT MY PRACTICE
My photographic practice is rooted in curiosity and close observation, and explores our relationship with the natural world, the passage of time and the meanings we attach to things. I work by gathering, selecting and arranging subjects for the camera.
My personal projects develop slowly, through sustained attention to a subject. Commissioned work takes a similar approach and visual style into new territory, and each strand feeds the other.
I welcome commissions across a range of subjects - such as botanical imagery, books, objects, and bespoke artworks. I enjoy collaborating with clients to find the right approach for each project.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Since completing an MA in Photographic Studies at the University of Westminster in 2012, I have developed a photographic practice centred on still life and botanical imagery. Working primarily with plant material gathered from my own garden, I create photographic series exploring seasonality, memory and the cycles of life.
My work begins with gathering and assembling objects, often plants, which I carefully arrange and stage for the camera. Through this process, I explore their potential as metaphors for wider themes, including transience and memory. The acts of making, arranging and photographing become part of the work itself, with something of the individual psyche invested in the process.

SELECTED COMMISSIONS & AWARDS
2023–2026 Commissioned by Artiq to create a series of 30 bespoke botanical photographs for a boutique hotel. This work developed from the ongoing series ‘Still Life with Flowers’, taking additional inspiration from the setting in Northern Italy.
2025 Artwork for the band Boundary Waters for their album cover ‘Longlost and Newfound’
2024 Supply of 12 botanical prints by Acrylicize for installation in commercial premises, including bespoke size cyanotype images.
2015–2018 Commissioned by Quarto Publishing to create photography for books and book covers, including botanical and plant-based imagery for ‘Sacred Herbs’ book.
2019 Selected for the London Creative Network Art & Photography Career Development Programme, Photofusion, London.
