Introduction

I create bespoke still life photography for private clients, interior designers, art consultants and brands. The work might be a botanical artwork for a home or hotel, a photograph for an album cover or book, or styled images for packaging and web. Whatever it is for, it starts from the same place: working together with my clients, close attention to the subject and lighting, and an overall high attention to detail.

Who I work with

  • Private collectors: a single piece, or a considered set for a wall, inspired by plants that carry significance for you..

  • Interior designers and art consultants: original artwork for hotels, homes and commercial interiors, created as a series.

  • Brands, publishers and musicians: photography for packaging, websites, books and album artwork, with set design and styling if you need it.

  • Publishers: photography for books within the arts and crafts sector

How it works

Tell me about the project: what it’s for, where it will be seen, how many finished photos you require, and your ideal timings. This is best done via email, and then we can chat further once I have the essential information.

1 - Get in touch.

3 - Making the work.

I create the photographs in my North London studio, which is equipped with lighting and selected backgrounds. Where appropriate I use plants and flowers and other natural materials as props. For brand work I can also style and build simple sets. I can work on location, depending on the details.

We will talk through the idea and create a brief for the project. Then I send a quote and we can discuss the timeline of the project. Once the quote is accepted we can start on pre-production and compile a shot list in order of priority.

2 - Brief and proposal.

4 - Review and delivery.

You will see an edited set of thumbnail images, choose your favourites, and I deliver the final jpeg files or finished prints.
